Organic blue lupin is suitable for all soils. Its rapid early development efficiently suppresses weeds. Its deep taproot can effectively loosen compacted soils, especially on newly planted sites. Lupins should be incorporated into the soil or cleared from the field and then composted while in the flowering stage, before forming seeds, which will prevent them from spreading. As a legume, blue lupin can fix atmospheric nitrogen through a symbiosis with the soil bacteria, which they convert into a plant-available form.
