Festulolium
Italian ryegrass x meadow fescue
Festulolium is a cross between species of fescue (Festuca) and ryegrass (Lolium). The objective of this cross was to combine the advantages of both species. The focus was on properties like persistence, winter-hardiness and yield. Depending on their breeding, different varieties resemble one of the original parents or combine their traits in equal measures.
