SORAYA, t.

SORAYA is a medium-late ryegrass variety of the tetraploid type that is recommended for both moorland locations and high altitudes. Despite the relatively late heading in spring, it forms a lot of leaf mass rather rapidly. This results in a very high yield of the best quality in the first cut. Thanks to its excellent resistance to diseases, particularly to crown rust, the feed quality remains good even in the summer growths. SORAYA generally produces high yields and has an even yield distribution. It has been tested as an “M” variety and is therefore suitable for growing in problematic marshlands as well.
