ASTA

ASTA is a conventional top variety of white mustard. It covers the ground very quickly and is thus not only provides protection against water and wind erosion, but also controls weeds. Apart from that, ASTA promotes soil fertility by enriching it with organic matter. This variety is able to absorb a great deal of nitrogen and store it in the plant's above-ground storage organs. The nitrogen stored can be absorbed by the plants again the following year and is thus protected from being leached into areas far removed from the roots.
